Why isn’t Vermouth vegan?
This is a great question and one we went back and forth on for a while. The only non-vegan ingredient in our formula is beeswax. Common vegan replacements for beeswax are by-products of petroleum refining - a process that accelerates global warming and harms the natural environment. We feel good about this choice, and we hope you do too.
Why doesn’t Vermouth accept returns?
Consumers in the United States return 3.5 billion products a year, only 20% of which are defective. More than 70% of these returns end up in a landfill, adding pollution and waste to the environment.
Here at Vermouth, we don’t think that’s right. We believe that companies should take responsibility for the ways in which their products affect the earth through their entire lifecycles, from production to disposal.
The carbon impact of shipping a product back is worse than its disposal, which is why we include sustainability as one of our core values. All our products are compostable so that you don’t have to worry about adding to the problem. That’s a win for all of us.
Why the small size?
Some call it small, we call it just right. When was the last time you finished an entire tube of lipstick before it dried out or rolled around in your bathroom drawer for months on end? With around 40 applications per lip crayon, you’ll find yourself with fresher lipstick on hand (yes, that’s a thing), and with five colors in a pack, there’s little risk in trying a shade that’s new to you—it might just end up being a new favorite!
Does Vermouth sell its playsticks individually?
At this time, we only offer our playsticks in five-pack flights, but as we mentioned above, with five colors in a pack, there’s little risk in trying a shade that’s new to you - it might just end up being a new favorite!
